An official Health Canada notice concerns Bmw. Issue: On a small number of motorcycles, a software problem could cause the emergency calling (eCall) system not to work. Safety Risk: If the eCall system doesn't work in an emergency situation, there could be a delay in response from emergency services. Corrective Actions: BMW Motorrad will notify owners by mail and send a wireless over-the-air software update for the electronic control unit software.
