An official Health Canada notice concerns Bmw. This recall was replaced by Transport Canada recall no. 2024-428. Issue: On certain motorcycles, the starter relay may not have been sealed properly. As a result, moisture could enter the relay and cause it to overheat and melt. Safety Risk: A starter relay that overheats and melts could create the risk of a fire. Corrective Actions: None of the affected motorcycles have been delivered to customers. BMW Motorrad will instruct dealers to replace the starter relay before each motorcycle is delivered.
