An official Health Canada notice concerns Bmw. Certain vehicles may not comply with the requirements of Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (CMVSS) 208 - Occupant Protection. The air bag control module was programmed with incorrect software which could affect the deployment timing of the driver's front air bag. This could increase the risk of injury to the seat occupant in a crash where airbag deployment is warranted. Correction: Dealers will reprogram the the airbag control module. Published 2015-03-18.
