An official Health Canada notice concerns Bmw. On certain vehicles, the screws securing the seat backrest and lower seat belt anchor to the passenger front seat may be incorrectly installed or missing due to a manufacturing process error. In the event of a crash, the seat and seatbelt may not work as intended, which could increase the risk of injury to the seat occupant. Correction: Dealers will replace the screws that secure the seat backrest and the lower seat belt anchor on the passenger front seat. Published 2016-03-08.
