An official Health Canada notice concerns Blue bird. On certain buses, the power cables running to the power distribution unit stud & the driver's control module stud may have been installed with the eyelet lug flat side up. Vibration may wear the insulation permitting direct contact between the bare lug power distribution unit & driver's control module, which could lead to a direct short in the electrical system. This could result in a vehicle fire causing property damage, personal injury or death. Correction: Dealers will inspect and, if necessary, correct the orientation of the power cable lug. Published 2011-02-15.
