An official Health Canada notice concerns Atc - Aluminum trailer company. On certain trailers equipped with an extended hitch, a frame section (near the front cross member) could fatigue and fail. This could allow the towed unit to detach from the towing vehicle, possibly striking another vehicle, a stationary object, or a bystander, causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: ATC authorized repair facilities will reinforce the hitch frame assembly. Owners may contact ATC at 1.877.441.2440 for further information. Published 2011-11-30.
