An official Health Canada notice concerns Arboc Mobility - Creative carriage. On certain buses, the wire harness for the alternator may have been installed incorrectly during vehicle assembly. As a result, the wires could chafe against the air compressor housing which, over time, could cause abrasion damage to the wire loom and the cable insulation, possibly resulting in an electrical short circuit. An electrical short could result in a vehicle fire causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Authorized service facilities will install a bracket to secure the alternator wire harness. Published 2012-04-23.
