An official ACCC notice concerns YOKOHAMA BluEarth AE-01 Tyres. Under certain circumstances, the irregular geometry in the sidewall can potentially create a condition in which a loss of air pressure is possible. Deflation of the tyre may cause loss of control and an accident. Published 2014-01-30.

Consumers should contact their tyre retailer to arrange for an immediate inspection to identify whether their tyres are affected. If the tyres are found to be affected, the tyre retailer will arrange for a replacement including fitting and balancing free of charge.
