An official ACCC notice concerns Thetford Triplex Plus Oven Grill Cooking Appliance. If the defect is present there is a risk of gas building up into the appliance when not lit and this may lead to a possible explosion within the oven. Published 2014-07-31.
What to do now
Cease using the oven. Turn the gas off at the bottle or turn off the isolation valve for the oven. The isolation valve is found under the van near the oven. Please call Thetford Australia Pty Ltd on 03 9358 0705 as soon as possible to arrange inspection and replacement by a qualified service agent.
