An official ACCC notice concerns Stokke® Scoot™ Compact Stroller. The hazard associated with the affected products is that consumers cannot read the safety warning and there is a risk that the harness will not be used. If the harness is not used, there is a risk for the baby to fall out of the stroller. Published 2014-02-13.
What to do now
Consumers with an affected product are asked to visit Stokke’s web site at www.stokke.com/en-au/ or contact Stokke Customer Service at the earliest opportunity to register for arranging rework of their Stokke® Scoot™. Until the stroller is reworked with correct warning on the harness, consumers may still use the product after they have read the safety warning text found at www.stokke.com/en-au/. Stokke reminds the consumers to use the harness at all times when using the Stokke® Scoot™.
