An official ACCC notice concerns Simpson EZI-Set Top-Load Clothes Washing Machine. If the program selector knob is removed, the power left on, and the screws touched, there is a danger of electric shock. The machine can continue to be used safely, but as an added precaution, consumers should switch the machine OFF at the power point when not in use. Under no circumstances should consumers attempt to remove the program selector knob or try to service the appliance. Consumers should call the toll free number 1800 001 218 (Monday to Friday 8am to 7pm EST, or weekends 10am to 3pm EST) or contact Electrolux directly by email on customercare@electrolux.com.au
