Consumers with affected models are requested to contact the LG customer information line on 1800 506 154 (9am to 5pm Monday to Friday EST) to arrange for a service technician to replace the micro switch. Prior to calling, consumers are asked to record their model and serial number to provide to LG’s Customer Information line. Customers can locate model & serial number on the left hand wall inside the fridge door.
