An official ACCC notice concerns SAIC Motor Australia Pty Ltd — MG6 PLUS 2016 Rear Seat. Without appropriate Child Restraint Anchorage, the top tether of a child restraint cannot be attached, which may increase the risk of injury to an occupant in an accident. Published 2017-12-13.

Owners of affected vehicles will be contacted directly by their MG dealer to arrange a complete replacement of the rear passenger seat backrest (60% portion) fitted with a middle top-tether child restraint anchorage point.
