Consumers with a Quell QPI9010 Dual Sensor Smoke Alarm should inspect the alarm for the presence of a yellow cap, following the attached instructions. If no yellow cap is present, consumers should reinstall the smoke alarm and no further action is needed. If a yellow cap is present, consumers should contact Quell for further instructions and to receive a free replacement. Consumers should not attempt to take apart the alarm, open the casing, or otherwise remove the yellow cap themselves. Consumers should reinstall the smoke alarm and only return the affected smoke alarm after they receive and install the replacement.
