An official ACCC notice concerns Plum Premium Metal Nest Swing with Mist. This defect can cause the rope to detach from its plastic joint under load, potentially resulting in an injury. Published 2018-05-13.
What to do now
Consumers should stop using the swing immediately and take all reasonable steps to prevent children using the swing. If possible, remove the nest swing from the frame. Plum will send consumers replacement ropes, with fitting instructions and tools to enable you to change the ropes. Plum expects to dispatch these ropes during the week commencing 15th May 2018.
