An official ACCC notice concerns Nokia Blood Pressure Monitor Plus. The user may be unable to obtain an accurate reading of the blood pressure, including systolic and diastolic readings, if the subject's arm circumference is greater than 35cm. Published 2018-10-30.
What to do now
Users should have been contacted by an email in June 2018 and an application update in July 2018, which requires them to select one of the following options: 1. Keep their Nokia BPM+, which requires that the user acknowledges that they have been notified 2. Return their Nokia BPM+ and receive a refund.
