An official ACCC notice concerns MY2002 – MY2015 Bicycles with Front-Wheel Quick-Releases and Disc Brakes. If the quick release lever contacts the front disc brake rotor, this may cause the front wheel to come to a sudden stop or separate from the bicycle, posing a risk of injury to the rider.
