An official ACCC notice concerns Mercury MerCruiser Production Engines, Remanufactured Mercruiser Engines and Certified Pre Owned Mercruiser Engines. A breakage of the tube which carries seawater into the cooler may allow seawater to be discharged into the boat, cause the engine to overheat and put the boat at risk of swamping.
