An official ACCC notice concerns KTM Motorcycles 50 SX Model Year 2019. As the carburetor cover acts as the upper throttle slide stop, if incorrectly fitted it may lead to the throttle slide sticking and being unable to return to the closed position. Should this occur, it could affect the riders ability to control and operate the bike safely and may cause an accident to the rider and others. Published 2018-12-13.

Authorised dealers will inspect the carburetor and repair free of charge if required.
