An official ACCC notice concerns GRUNT Vehicle Recovery & Snatch Straps. Recovery straps without the required safety warning label may be used incorrectly. There is an increased risk of injury or death if recovery straps are used incorrectly. Published 2022-09-02.

Consumers should immediately stop using the product and check the model number, which can be found on the blue sewn in label attached to each strap. Affected consumers should contact Homewares Pty Ltd, including the below information, to register for a replacement warning label and instructions, these will be sent directly to consumers by post. Consumers should email salessupport@myhomewares.com and include their full name, address, daytime telephone number, number of affected straps and the model numbers.
