An official ACCC notice concerns Gorilla EL12 21-I Extension Ladder 150kg Industrial. There is a possibility of a fall injury occurring if the ladders fail while loaded with more than 120kg. Published 2014-12-03.
What to do now
Consumers must not use the ladder for loads of more than 120kg. Consumers should contact Hartman Pacific in order to arrange for a new rating label and load rating stickers for their existing ladder, or call Customer Service on 1300 362 393 to arrange for a replacement product or refund if you believe that you will use the ladder with loads greater than 120kg.
