Submit a request here to find out if your device is impacted. Check that your device has received the firmware update to Android 13. This issue does not affect all Pixel 4a devices. If your device is impacted by the issue, the new battery management system will be activated. If your device is not impacted by the issue, the firmware update will have no impact on battery management and the device will perform the same as before. You do not need to return your device to mitigate the safety issue. Google advises that the firmware update mitigates the safety issue. Once the firmware update has been installed, you can continue using your device. You may be eligible for an appeasement from Google. You can check your appeasement eligibility here .
