What to do now
Consumers should identify if their notebook and/or batteries are affected and to follow the safety instructions as a preventive measure until the replacement battery arrives. Turn the computer off, unplug the AC adaptor and remove the battery pack. Check the Product number and Serial number on the battery pack and see if they match the description shown under "Affected battery packs" if they match do not use this battery pack.
