The product has been available for sale at Drakes Supermarkets and Romeo's Foodland Stores in South Australia Problem The recall is due to contamination with Listeria monocytogenes and no instructions to cook the product before consumption. Food safety hazard Listeria monocytogenes may cause severe illness in pregnant women, unborn babies, neonates, the elderly, and immunocompromised individuals. The general population can also become ill from consuming food contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes.
