An official ACCC notice concerns Edelrid Conecto, Conecto Small & Conecto Swivel Safety Bolts. If the bolts are damaged, or have not been used as instructed, the entire device could fail. If this occurs serious injury or death may occur. Published 2013-12-05.
What to do now
Bolts should be tightened to the required torque and regularly inspected. Outdoor Agencies Pty Ltd will supply all customers with replacement bolts, free of charge. Please visit the Outdoor Agencies and fill in the bolt request form and email to sales@outdooragencies.com.au.
