The recall addresses two issues. 1) Bicycles equipped with disc brakes and quick releases with levers that can open far enough to contact the disc brake assembly. 2) Bicycles with front quick-release cam levers that have a clearance of at least 6 millimetres, which is the equivalent of the width of a # 2 Pencil, between the leading edge of the cam lever in its most open position and the disc rotor while applying thumb pressure on the end of the cam lever directed towards the rotor (the “#2 Pencil Test”) are not included in this corrective action.
