An official ACCC notice concerns ARX1200T3D N2 N3 T2 T3 Personal Watercraft. The fuel tank may crack allowing fuel to leak into the enclosed hull of the personal watercraft, which could lead to a fire hazard. Published 2014-06-18.
What to do now
This recall campaign has been announced in two stages. The first stage was an inspection only and, if necessary, tank would be replaced with pre-countermeasure tank, until C/M tank became available. The second stage is fitting of the new countermeasure tank. The new tank is now available and all units will need to be inspected and, if required, have a new tank fitted, even if a pre-countermeasure tank has already been fitted. Do not use your personal watercraft until it has been inspected and, if necessary, repaired by an authorised Honda Dealer.
