Cease using the item immediately. Consumers that purchased the product directly from Global Shop Direct will receive an email and letter in the mail offering to replace the item at no charge. Consumers will be asked to cut the rug up to prevent it being used and to send a photograph of the product to the GSD contact centre. GSD will arrange to replace the product with the new 16 suction cup design at no charge. Consumers that purchased the product via other retailers should contact our consumer phone support line 1300 137 598 or email us at aquarugrecall@globalshopdirect.com.au, to confirm they have purchased the affected GSD product by providing proof of purchase or sending a photograph of the product. Once it has been identified as being affected by the recall, they will then be asked to cut the product up and upon receipt of confirmation of destruction, will be sent a replacement at no charge.
