An official ACCC notice concerns Eco 2 Tonne Override Coupling fitted to Easytow Trailers. If the coupling head unscrews and detaches from the coupling shaft, only the safety chains will attach the trailer to the tow vehicle and this can create an unstable tow situation, which could poses an accident hazard to the driver and other road users.
